An AI helper that drafts your listing copy from the notes in Rex

Every new listing needs a description, a campaign email, and a handful of social captions, and in a small agency the agent usually writes them all by hand. The facts are already in Rex: the appraisal notes, the features, and the photos. An AI helper (the industry calls it an agent) drafts the copy from those notes in your agency's voice. The agent reads it, rewrites what needs a human touch, and signs it off. You keep your voice and your judgement, and you get back most of the afternoon.

What you get

What we set up for you on Rex

01

Listing description drafts

The AI helper drafts the property description from your appraisal notes and the listing details in Rex, in your agency's tone.

02

Campaign emails and captions

From the same notes, it drafts the email to your buyer list and a set of social captions, ready to drop into your Canva templates.

03

Facts kept to the facts

It writes only what's in your notes. If the notes don't mention a pool, the copy won't either, so you aren't fixing made-up features.

04

Your agency's voice written down

We write down how your agency describes homes, including the words you never use, so every draft sounds like you.

05

We keep it running

When Rex or your templates change, we update the AI helper. You don't need to learn how it works underneath.

Your listings take an afternoon of writing each

In a small agency, a new listing means a burst of writing. There’s the property description for the portals, an email to your buyer list, and a few social captions for launch week. The agent who did the appraisal knows the home best, so the agent writes it all, usually in the evening, because the day goes on inspections and calls.

Why Rex on its own doesn’t do the job

Rex is built for real estate. It keeps your listings, contacts, appraisals, and campaigns together, and it holds every fact the copy needs. But turning those facts into a description that sounds like your agency is still a writing job, and it still falls to whoever has the notes.

An AI helper takes that first draft off the agent. It reads the notes and listing details in Rex and drafts every piece of copy in one go, in your voice, ready to check.

How we set it up on Rex

We work with Harbour Lane Property, a three-person boutique agency in Newcastle. The agents wrote every listing description and campaign email by hand from their appraisal notes, and it took about 3 hours per listing. We set up an AI helper that drafts the listing copy, the campaign email, and the social captions from the notes and photos in Rex. The captions go into the agency’s Canva templates.

Each listing now takes about 40 minutes. The principal still rewrites every headline, because the headline is where the agency’s local knowledge shows, and that’s the part buyers notice. Read the Harbour Lane Property story.

We started by mapping how you work (the industry calls it process mapping). We sat with the principal and wrote down the words the agency uses, the words it never uses, and what each piece of copy has to include.

When Rex is the right place to start, and when it isn’t

An AI helper on Rex pays off when you list often enough that the writing adds up, and your appraisal notes already hold most of the detail. It’s a weaker fit for an agency that lists one prestige home a month, where every word is crafted. It also can’t fix thin notes. If the notes say “nice kitchen”, the draft won’t know much more than that.

FAQs

Common questions

Will the AI write my headlines?
It drafts them, but the agencies we work with rewrite them. A headline is the one line a buyer reads first, and agents know their suburb and their buyers better than any AI does.
Can it make up features a property doesn't have?
We set it up to write only from your notes and the listing details in Rex. It's told not to add anything else. A person still reads every draft before it's published, because real estate copy has to be accurate.
Do I need to change how I use Rex?
No. We work with the way your agency already uses Rex. The only change most agents notice is that their appraisal notes get a bit more detailed, because better notes mean better drafts.
Does it work with photos?
Yes. The AI helper can look at listing photos to help describe the light, the layout, and the finishes. It still relies on your notes for anything a photo can't show, like the street or the school zone.
Can it handle rentals as well as sales?
Yes. Rental listings follow the same shape, a description, an email, and captions. We set the rules up separately so rental copy stays short and practical.
What does it cost?
Every package has a fixed price on the packages page. The Small Team package is $1,950 a month and covers 2 AI helpers, half a day a month of our time, a monthly review call, and the AI running costs, for teams of 2 to 5 people.
