Every drop needs words before it can sell
A small fashion label can design a beautiful range and still lose a week to the writing. Each piece needs a product description, care notes, and a size guide. Multiply that by a drop of 30 pieces, and the founder is writing late into the night while the stock sits in boxes.
We work with Marlow & Thread, a two-person slow fashion label in Melbourne. Each new drop of 30 pieces needed product descriptions, care notes, and size guides, and a drop took 6 days to go live.
Where your week goes
For a label, it’s the drop. Product copy, care notes, size guides, and the images to go with them all land at once. For a boutique, it’s the stock. Working out what sold, what’s sitting on the rail, and what to reorder often means counting by hand on a day off.
Then there are the customer questions. Sizing, delivery times, and order updates come in every day, and they’re nearly always the same handful of questions.
Why buying a tool alone falls short
You can paste a product into a free AI app and get a description back. It’ll be fluent and generic, and it won’t sound like your label. It also won’t know your fabric, your maker, or the way you talk about fit.
What makes the difference is the setup. We give the AI helper your maker’s spec sheets and your best past descriptions, then tune its instructions until the drafts sound like you. For reports, we connect it to your real sales, so the numbers come from your point of sale and not from someone’s memory. You can read more in our approach.

How we build it
We map how a drop or a stock decision moves through your week, then set up one AI helper for the job that costs you most.
For Marlow & Thread, the AI helper drafts product descriptions, care notes, and size guides from the maker’s spec sheet in the house tone. A drop now goes live in 2 days instead of 6. The fit notes still come from the founder trying each piece on, because no spec sheet tells you how a dress sits.
For a four-person fashion boutique, the owner used to count sell-through by hand each Sunday to decide reorders. We built a report from Square sales that lists what sold, what’s sitting, and suggested reorders. The Sunday stocktake is gone, and the buying decisions stay with the owner.
Rules that apply to you
If you sell online, Australian Consumer Law covers what you tell customers about your products and your returns. So the AI helper drafts, and a person checks every description before it goes live. Your customer and sales data stays in the tools you already control.
What good looks like
Good looks like a drop that goes live in days, not a week, a reorder list waiting for you instead of a Sunday count, and customer replies drafted before you open the inbox. You still choose the range, the fit, and the buy. Read the full stories from Marlow & Thread and the fashion boutique, or see AI helpers and reports that write themselves.
