Omnichannel commerce

Omnichannel commerce means selling across your website, physical shop, markets, and social channels as one business, with the same stock, prices, and customer details everywhere. If a customer buys a dress on Instagram, your website shouldn't still show it in stock. For a small shop, this usually means one system at the centre, like Shopify or Square, with the other channels connected to it. We work with a four-person fashion boutique that uses Square sales to build a weekly report of what sold, what sits, and what to reorder. That replaced the owner's Sunday stocktake by hand. The limit is that every channel added is another place for stock to drift, and the buying decisions still sit with the owner.
