Thick data

Thick data is the human detail behind your numbers, gathered from conversations, reviews, interviews, and watching how people behave. Your sales report can tell you that rebookings dropped. Thick data tells you why, like clients feeling rushed at the end of an appointment or forgetting to book because nobody asked. We work with Still Water Day Spa, a seven-person day spa in Noosa, where clients left without rebooking and follow-up messages happened when someone remembered. Follow-ups are now drafted from each visit and sent on time, and the rebooking rate went from 31% to 44% over three months. A new booking system in the same period also helped, so not all of that change came from the follow-ups. AI can sort reviews and messages into themes, but a person still has to listen to what customers mean.
