Digital engineering

Digital engineering is the hands-on work of designing and building the software, data, and connections a business runs on. It covers apps, websites, automations, and the links between your tools. For a big company, it's a department. For a small team, it's usually a handful of practical jobs, like a quote form that feeds a spreadsheet, a client portal, or an AI helper connected to your inbox and store. Good digital engineering starts with how you work, not with the technology. It also plans for upkeep from day one, because every piece you build needs updates and fixes later. The best build is often the smallest one that does the job.
